It also improve detection of predatory threats because there are more organisms looking out. Because of schooling the ability to get food is also better because there are more eyes to look for prey, and there are more fish to attack. There are so many benefits of it such as, an increase in foraging efficiency as well as protection from predators. Being in groups also help reproduce because you are more likely to find and mate and you are better off for survival. Being in a group is better overall because you are stronger together than by yourself.
