         <description><![CDATA[<p>I found that traditional surveys and engagement don't mix well for 3rd graders. Instead of using a multiple choice survey, I found that a discussion gave me much more accurate feedback from my class.</p><p>Questions to ask 3rd graders about how engaged they are during lessons can include:</p><ol><li><p>What was something that we learned about recently that got you excited? </p></li><li><p>What lessons do you look forward to in this class?</p></li><li><p>What is your favorite way of learning new things?</p></li><li><p>What were you thinking about during <em> our most recent </em>______ lesson?</p></li><li><p>What makes you excited to come to school?</p></li></ol>]]></description>
