Und es gibt das gefühlte/soziale/gelebte Geschlecht.
Im Englischen gibt es dafür zwei Worte: das zugewiesene Geschlecht heißt "sex"
das gelebte/gefühlte/soziale Geschlecht heißt "gender"

Den Geschlechtern werden oft von der Gesellschaft bestimmten Eigenschaften zugeschrieben. Dann heißt das: "Männer sind so...Frauen sind so". Menschen werden oft erzählt, wie sie sich verhalten müssen/sollen.
Bewusst und unbewusst verhalten sich dann die Menschen oft so.
Sie nehmen Rollen ein, die ihnen zugeschrieben werden und erfüllen dann die Erwartungen und Anforderungen anderer.
Die Mehrheitsgesellschaft "denkt" immer noch in zwei Geschlechterkategorien. 
Es gibt aber mehr als zwei Geschlechter (Zweigeschlechtlichkeit/ Binarität). Seit 2018 sind in Deutschland nicht nur zwei Geschlechter anerkannt --> Intersexualität! / divers!
