The Hudson River is where watersheds go into. Running water separates bigger sediments from smaller sediments. Depending on the speed of the running water, particles may move differently. The more water there is in an area the faster the flow and less amounts of water will move slower. Water moves fastest on the outside of a meander and slower on the inside. A meander is a winding curve or the bend in a river. A current, the flow, moves fastest in the middle and allows deeper deltas to sort sediment. Running water is an agent of erosion and is based on gravity.
