End of Days is significant to the plot of the story as the asteroid is said to be the END of life as we know it, the way the title is written also gives us information. It is interesting that END is capitalized and colored while the rest of the cover is composed of bland Black and Whites. The O is also colored so it forms the word ENDO which means to absorb, the parallels between the title and the proposed events is interesting as the END would happen if the earth Absorbed the asteroids impact. 

Although a time and year is never really stated we can make estimates based on the first chapter, at the end of the chapter it is revealed that the satellite is launched by the Soviet Union. Since we know that the satellite was launched by the USSR we can safely assume it was launched as a part of the space race, the satellite sent a signal out 33 years later which pegs the time period around the early 2000’s or at least that is when the first chapter takes place.

Eric is a very  From disaster to heartwarming kinship Eric Walters has cornered the market on kids novels. With an attention to detail that stretches far into the make believe and a enticing way of telling his stories it is impossible to not be interested in Walters.(What is this person famous for?) Eric walters is the author of many children books that have won very prestigious awards. These awards include Ontario Library Association Silver Birch, Red Maple Award,Children’s Africana Book Award Eric walters has impacted the children book scene in unimaginable ways When and where was the author born? As Well as his literary background Eric Walters also has a background in Toronto Canada where he was born in 1957. Eric is a Canadian citizen and is quite prideful when it comes to his hometown and country Eric walters seems to keep his family very close to his chest and there is not much information out there on his family life. Therefore it is hard to speculate on how his family operates Eric had a pretty hard childhood as his mother died of cancer when he was only 4 and his father was a disheveled and broken man. It is clear that Eric is a very hard working person with the will to persevere and succeed. Eric attended York University. 

I read a book titled End of Days written by Eric Walters.The plot of this book is that an asteroid is heading towards Earth and the only people who can help destroy the asteroid are professional astrophysicists. They are finding a way to stop the asteroid from hitting the earth.
There are many genres in this book such as, action, suspense and mystery.The real action part is more than halfway through the book when the asteroid is coming near Earth.

In my opinion, I think most of main characters are believable in the real world because there are astrophysicists and protesters . When I first saw the title of this book (End of Days) I thought it was about how the world was going to end.There were a few parts in the book that I thought was shocking, I didn’t expect that to happen. The reason I enjoyed this book is because how the author wrote it. There were parts of the book that were unclear but as I was continuing the book the unclear parts made sense.

One strength of the book I thought was the way the author described the characters.On page# 5 it states “ All four men were clean-shaven with short hair, dressed in almost identical suits and wearing leather shoes that made no sound.” Another strength was the way the author made 2 different stories ( one story was about the astrophysicists and the story was about a boy who was going to help save the world) and then the stories somehow came together. Overall I was amazed how well this book was written
