Phoebe and I start our day / adventure at 6am when her 'upbeat' alarm sounds to wake us both up. It is a new day! I feel excited to tackle the challenges that the day brings. I am also ready for my first cup of coffee. :)

Inspiring Productivity

I check my work email on my iPhone as soon as I wake up, which is both a good and bad thing. Good because I can check it off my list and move on to the next thing. Bad when I get absorbed in it and it actually limits my productivity, making me feel frustrated.

It is 7:30am and I am checking the traffic and weather before I leave my apartment. It looks like it going to be a beautiful day! I am feeling optimistic and in the know.

Between 8-9am I have reached for my constant companion and partner in crime about 4-5 times, unconsciously, to check my work and personal email, text, peruse social media, and search for more information on a concert I heard advertised on the radio.
