It interests me because we are dealing with it during this school year. A genre of writing I may use might be solely focused on reading with the grain. Something I might want to find out may be how much it decreases the spread of Covid.

COVID-19: College students face incredible mental health stressors (usatoday.com)
1. Guidry explains in this article the challenges that are produced with online classes such as when they say, "Most of Ratliff's classes are in math and science, which have not translated well to online learning. Plus, there's the lack of socialization". I agree that online classes can pose these challenges of social interaction, a point that needs emphasizing since so many people still believe that less social interaction is better. Social interaction can play a key role in how a person is capable of learning. Not everyone learns the same, and requires different attributes to their surroundings.
2. Another good point Guidry points out is how people are having negative thought said when, "All the extra stressors are doing a number on students' mental health, affecting them disproportionately worse than others, according to a survey by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in June. Adults age 18-24 reported having experienced disproportionately worse mental health outcomes, increased substance use and elevated suicidal thoughts due to the pandemic". Those unfamiliar with this school of thought may be interested that it basically balls down to the fact that students are having great levels of depression with tis much stress. I know this is true being that I have heard it from peers around my age first hand. Students have too much going on with the teachers putting this much work on them at once.
3. The point of students being susceptible to these opportunities is portrayed when Guidry says ,"Brian Frederick, psychologist at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Counseling and Testing Center, said this is a more vulnerable time for college students because transitions typically lead to fear". I agree that students are vulnerable during online classes to stress do to my own experiences with the issue. I myself am dealing with the problems of online schooling due to the fact that errors can occur that I cant handle and mess with my grades. Like for this assignment I couldn't access the teacher padlet, so I had to contact a classmate for the assignment.

In "It Will Take More Than a Vaccine to Beat COVID-19", Dhruv Khullar starts off the article with previous diseases and their storyline such as polio. The main idea of this article is to help inform and attempt tp persuade the readers of ways that the public can continue to chop at covid-19 to reduce its strength. The article goes on to tell about ways to reduce the spread and to think of possible ways to make those infected fight against the virus. Vaccines are one of the main targeted goals for recent studies to have a chance to eliminate all possibilities of someone getting covid and more capabilities of the disease spreading.
