Even though I was nervous I felt great as soon as we started playing which I was thankful for because I thought my nerves would never go away, I did think we could've done our 2nd song long shot better but considering we didn't practice the amount we wanted it still went well. If we were to do it again I think I would be more interactive with the audience because in our performance I was nervous to. But overall I think we done the best we could.

For our songs we have chosen to do sk8ter boy by Avril and sweet child of mine by guns n roses

I learned how to properly do time stamps and I did try to sample different sounds but didn't work out but at least I know mostly how to do it for next time.

we focused more on our original because some of the members have been off so we needed to catch them up a bit.

the vocalist worked on harmonies and me and dez (drummer) were trying to figure out how we build up to the chorus and how we finish it.

for the last one we figured out the set up we were going to be standing in and we found it best if me and ellis stood next to each other and cayden and rory standing together because cayden and ellis both share some of the lead solos so it would make more sense if they were at different sides

certain points of sweet child of mine i only play down strums so the vocalist have a little solo bit.

The lyrics are all about his love for his girlfriend at the time and being innocent, pure and also gives a nostalgic effect, it is written in first person so it gives the vibe he is singing it to his girlfriend at the time. Theres about a medium amount of lyrics but there is repetition in the chorus, bridge and outro, the difference between the verse chorus and bridge is that in the bridge the whole vibe changes and goes a bit lower and deeper, but still the song stays in the key D major throughout. The rhythm for the vocal is long and slow and is also monotone with the range being C#6-C#3. Most people recognise sweet child of my by its famous intro and solos at the intro of the chorus but also gets repeated throughout. The chords sequence is quite simple being D major C major and G major for the chorus and then C-G-D for the chorus.

For this song i play acoustic rhythm guitar and my job is basically to keep the rhythm flowing and in time, throughout the song i stick to the same strumming pattern. To make the song a little bit different i put a suggestion that the guitarist just do down strums on the bridge so that it gives more of an eerie feel. Overall all of the little things i have mentioned work together to make a amazing depth and vibe to sweet child of my mine.

me and Sarah covered a song called "iloveitiloveitiloveit" by Bella key. if you know the song originally you would realise that it should be in a lower key but to fit Sarahs voice more we moved it an octave lower. we also got Caleb from HND to help with a little bit of the editing to the audios but he really just helped us to understand it a bit more.
