The problems are grade level specific and are based on about where the student should be in the standards. Complete the problems quickly with your students. </p><p><br/></p><p>How will This Help: Provides TOR with important information on what the student knows and what they are struggling with.  You can send more math problems to the parent to work on if the student is having trouble.The online books for each grade could be purchased by Excel so that each teacher has access to each grade level. book. The TOR could then provide resources to the parents on areas to work on.</p>]]></description>

Ask students to verbalize what they are learning and how they completed the problem. Encourage students to complete a Math Journal so they can go back and review.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>How will this help: Completing a problem together, verbalizing, and writing down how they solved the problem will help students to clearly understand the concept.&nbsp; They are explaining the “how” and “why” which shows that they mastered the topic/ concept. This could help parents to implement this in their daily schedule and doesn’t require any extra resources.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
