Aiden said that it was an opinion and that he can't really answer that. The political scientist was like, "You should looks up some political science philosophers. And also, if you look back onto the founding fathers, they fought an entire revolution to get away from a corupt government taking advantage of them." So basically yes. Then the question becomes. "WHEN is political violence justified to maintain democracy?" That's a whole other bag o' worms. Lets say for the sake of this argument that political violence is justified even if you don't believe that. Trump has actually said that he isn't going to listen to the constitution and his actions show that. Defying federal judges, wanting a 3rd presidential term, trying to end birthright citizenship ect. So does that count a threat on democracy? In my opinion. Yes. But I also hate his guts and want him to die. For good reason as well. He's a racist, rapist, sexist, felon, billionaire. How did people vote for him. But i'm not exactly an unbiased opinion. We can also look at another show of political violence. The January 6th riots a couple years ago. That was a clear show of political violence, the circumstances are completely different though. They were doing that because they believed that the election was rigged. Because... Why? Trump Dump lied and said that is was with no evidence. If there was a act of violence due to a threat on democracy. Would that be any different? Would we be justified in violence against our government if they were trying to blatantly overthrow democracy? There is certainly argument for either way. The main thing is, it is our constitutional right to overthrow our government. If we don't like what they're doing we can overthrow them. The constitution doesn't ensure that we don't get thrown if jail for that though. Sooooo... Not much we can do about that.

He did a weird thing with the tariffs where he added the tariffs, waited until the numbers were really low, and then paused them. While the numbers were down, he sent out a message saying that now would be a good time to buy stocks. Then when he paused the tariffs the numbers went way up, effectively giving billionares more money with the stocks. This is totally legal but also totally unethical.

Tump is really determined to get Greenland from Denmark, even though they have clearly stated that it's not for sale but when has that ever stopped him from making grabby hands at things until it blows up in his face. He keeps calling it "one of history’s greatest real estate deals" the problem is that Greenland was never for sale??? The U.S. does not need Greenland??? Why do we want Greenland???

I figured I should put this on here. I'm gonna edit it a little bit for easiness to read.

Hot take maybe: Frozen is one of the best Disney movies. 

These are some of the things that are shown in the first movie.

Frozen:

- It shows loss in the form of the dead parents

- It shows children that love is more than romantic relationships through the use of sisters so that kids don’t get confused and think that it’s implied that it’s romantic. 

- It shows a manipulator and shows how someone that you may find charming and nice can be out to get you. 

- It has twists so that you don’t really know who the bad guy really is until the end where it’s really obvious it’s Hans.

- It shows representations of anxiety and depression and feeling alone and like you have no one to rely on with Elsa in the beginning and middle bits.

- It shows how you can’t trust someone you just met. Much less marry them.

- It shows how you can be a introvert like Elsa, and a extrovert and Anna and still be chill with each other.

- It shows how sometimes you need to give people space if they need it.  

- In the end it shows how you can help to get over that with the use of family and friends with opening up and getting support from those you love. 

The second one is also kinda a masterpiece.

Frozen II

- It shows how colonization with native Americans and the US worked out while not being too explicit. 

- It has representations of death and loss, and how it’s really hard but you still need to persevere.

- It shows how government can be corrupt and how the government is kinda trying to ruin the government. (I'm editing and I have no clue what this means but i'm keeping it because it's funny. The first bit stands though. Government is corrupt)

- When Anna breaks the dam that shows kids how sometimes you need to make sacrifices for the greater good. Hard choices in life ect.

- mainly it shows native Americans, the mother for one thing. Also how they don’t like colonization and how they have their beliefs and rituals, and it’s ok if their beliefs are different from yours.

- It shows how your parents keep some things from you but in the end they are trying to do what’s best for you even if they don’t know how entirely to go about that.

- Olaf has his little factoid section 

- In one of the first songs there is a song about how things can change. And that it’s not entirely a bad thing. And that some things don’t change.

- It has countless healthy relationships. BUT they don’t make all of the female characters rely on a big strong man. Elsa stays single and happy. And Anna has a good HEALTHY relationship with Kristoff. But she is still strong on her own without relying on a man. And also they don’t force anyone to stay single in a way that seems kinda awkward. Like Disney was trying to hard.

In conclusion I just spent 20 minutes writing this dam thing and I think Disney did an excellent job on this. Hats off to them. Frozen is a perfect film. It has humor, complex emotions, twists, great songs, and great representation of many different things.

This is a Nytimes article. My current theory is that they are scared of him. He's shown he can fire people at the drop of the hat and people don't want to lose their jobs. Both wars in Gaza and Ukraine are still going on. 2 wars in two separate places. The US is bombing Yemen, i'm pretty sure North Korea is joining the Ukraine war for Russias side or something. Something is happening in China and Taiwan, i'm pretty sure China is coming up with strategies for war. I saw some article about it. If other countries join in it becomes global so they can’t really do anything without further provoking more war in other places. I don't like the way this seems to be shaping out.

On Saturday protests broke out in LA due to ICE. They allegedly raided an elementary school graduation. Insane if true. Thats a one way ticket to trauma central. The protests started peaceful. Law enforcement was sent out to deal with it and one thing led to another eventually leading up to a massive power play by Trump. He sent out 2,000 national guards members to 'de-escalate' the situation. Obviously that didn’t help. And it just inevitably escalated the protests. Projectiles, tear gas, and flash bang grenades were used. It looks like a fucking war-zone.

I know that the national guard takes an oath to come in to protect/defend/rebuild after national disasters as well as other issues around the country but that doesn’t mean that they have to like Trump. Which makes we wonder how many of them feel horrible. 2,000 national guards. That is terrifying.

Pete Hegseth is talking about sending in marines and they are on standby. I believe that this was a power play by Trump to fear monger and try to rile up people to eventually call martial law. 2,000 is a crazy amount of people for protests. People are allowed to show resentment towards the government.

Wow. Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck in Utah at one of his debates. He has been pronounced dead. I've seen a video of it. It's rather gory. You can see him be shot and then blood gush out of his neck and then he goes limp a second later. After watching it i lowkey felt sick to my stomach and had the distinct impression that I just watched a man die. He was taken to the hospital but obviously didn't end up surviving from that. Charlie Kirk is a piece of shit. There is absolutely no denying that. But also no one deserves to be shot and killed. I feel for Charlies daughter and his wife. I don't really give a shit that he died. But I do give a shit that his daughter will now have to grow up and live without a father and that his wife will have to take care of two kids without a husband. I do probably think that his wife is also a piece of shit to have married him. But I also don't know enough about her to made a hard take. People are being assholes about his death as well, including my sibling. Gun violence is not a thing to cheer for. You cannot pick and chose which gun violence is bad and which is good. It really speaks to the lack of empathy that people have nowadays. We can say things about our government, people can disagree, but that does not mean that the next appropriate step is murder. And I just fucking KNOW that MAGA is now going to say that people on the left are horrible for saying that they are happy that he died. But the problem there is generalizing a group of people into the minority. Most people that I have seen are saying condolences and everything, it is a minority of people that are saying that they are glad. But I know that MAGA is going to dig their claws into those people and say "see! thats what their like!" I'm already seeing it. People are not making it any better by saying that they're glad. They are most definitely making it worse. I am not saying that I feel bad for Charlie in any way. He promoted heinous things. Fucking Natzi. But I do think that it's important to take a step back and think of the repercussions of this. I feel like the US is simmering on a civil war and the more shit that happens, the further we're going to be pushed over the edge of that.

• This is so hard to go through specifically because these fucking files wont download properly. But that don't matter because I have CBS which already did the work for me. There is over 500 pages of completely redacted pages. What i'm taking away from this is. TRUMP. If he wasn't in there, the only things that would be redacted would be the victims faces, names, and whatnot. But the fact that it's more than that is suspicious. And the thing is that there was a picture of Trump that some poor FBI intern probably missed lol. • Also these files are such bullshit because I downloaded the zip files on the DOJ website but I still missed things because they wouldn't load properly so in order to go through it properly I would have to select each individual link in the DOJ. • This one has a bunch of pictures of Epstein on vacation? It's kinda unclear, it's just a shit ton of pictures of Epstein. Also some of his girlfriend who helped him in sexually exploiting girls.

I just realized that the dozen files in this data set each have like 50 pages of content. Now I get to read! Wee!

1. First one is a transcript of an FBI agent and a special agent in the FBI who works for the Violent Crimes Against Children squad. They talk about a victim for a while. Generally disgusting stuff. The victim was 14, she met another girl who said that she could make money by going to this rich guys house and giving him massages. She did that and he eventually touched her. God, this is heavy shit to read. With context clues I think the interviewee also talked with the girl who told the 14 year old about Epstein. That girl was 16 and was worried about going to jail. That girl found people and told them about Epstein and got paid for that as well. It then goes on to talk about another girl with a similar story to these two. Just in a different one of his houses. There's once sentence where they fucking missed censoring the names of one of the victims. This makes me so fucking pissed because the main reason that there are censorships is to protect the victims identity but they fucking miss one and later in the files they are just blacking out entire pages but they miss a victims name?? There's a third story about another girl with a pretty identical story to the others. That is pretty much the end, they talk about some other things for a bit, but that is money and dates related.

2. Second one has the same job as the first one, could be the same person, unclear because its redacted. I think it's the same person because it mentions the other interview. This one is whole bunch dates and phone numbers. Idk, I skimmed.

3. The slideshow that was periodically mentioned in the first and second interview. Generally pretty boring.

4. Another FBI member, same position. This court record is listed as U.S. vs. Ghislaine Maxwell (Epstein's girlfriend at the time) so this should be interesting.

I'm bored/tired, but it should be noted that this data set 4 is where the shit ton of redacted pages begin. They are hiding all of the rich.

It was to bomb ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) which is a terrorist group so that makes sense. Apparently it was to "protect Christians" but CNN reported that the village that he attacked had no links to ISSIS so basically it’s useless. And he called it a Christmas present to terrorists which is so unprofessional on so many levels.

Of course then Trump also bombed some Venezuelan ships a few days ago or something. That one was for drug trafficking.

I'm pretty sure what he did there was a literal war crime. But as I said, he can get away with it because the US has a big dick and people are afraid of crossing us. We literally ended WWII when we got involved because we dropped the sun on Japan twice. Remember when sexist MAGGOT's were saying that Kamala would be bad for America because she's a woman and when she's on her period she would just start wars. And now we have a non-hormonal douchebag predator doing that anyway. Also remember how one of the things that Trump ran on was "no wars" and now he's actually starting wars instead and just bombing places for no reason.
