In a choral setting, flipping the classroom would enable students, through video or audio media, to hear and practice individual part learning and singing, to upload themselves singing for assessment, or viewing theory lessons. Class time could then be used to focus on putting everyone's individual work together as an ensemble. More time could be spent focusing on blend, musicianship, and group and individual technique.
The major challenge I see is the amount of time that creating the videos will take. Students also need to be careful to learn the part correctly. It is always difficult to relearn something that was originally learned incorrectly.

STEM class is a mixed discipline course...it would be useful to have videos over ways that our topics relate to science, math, social studies, etc. And if the teachers of those disciplines flip their classrooms, we could share videos so the kids could see their different teachers relating the two classes. However, if those other teachers weren't interested, it could make it a lot more work. So many kids don't have access to Internet at home.
