This book is about 5 high school kids who get put in detention, and at the end, one ends up dead, and the other 4 are now suspects in his death. I'm really enjoying this book because I enjoy watching how they cope with being accused of murder and their other problems that come up with it.

A signpost I noticed today was a tough question. This happened when Cooper was thinking about telling his dad he was gay, but then changed his mind because he was afraid of his reaction. This makes me wonder how much he's had to hide from his dad because of what he expects from Cooper. On page 231, it says "He'd never look at me the same."

This is the sequel to "One of us is Lying". So far, it's just introducing us to the newer characters, Phoebe and Knox. It's also updating on the characters from the previous book, Bronwyn, Nate, Cooper, Addy, and Maeve, who is one of the main characters of this book. I only got through 2 chapters, but it seems good!

After more reading, they introduced the newer characters in more detail. There's Phoebe, who works with Maeve. It also revealed there's a new online gossip called Truth or dare, and Phoebe is the one chosen for it. I'm super excited to see what she does.

I'm really enjoying the book so far. It's suspenseful and interesting. Phoebe had her truth revealed and it caused lots of hurt and drama. After, another kid was chosen but he picked Dare. Bronwyn visits and is upset about another breakup with Nate.

I've gotten much farther in the book, and a lot more has happened. A bully at the school took a dare, but died while completing it. After that the dares stopped. This is making everyone suspicious of what happened to him. There are other things going on as well, like Phoebe is being followed and her sister is struggling. I can't wait to read more.

I have only 1 or 2 more chapters left of the book. After getting a suspicious note from a stalker, Maeve and Knox found a man named Jared and saw that he was after Phoebe. He set off a bomb at a wedding venue where she was supposed to be, but they were able to get everyone out in time. After, it was revealed that Emma, Phoebe's sister, helped create the Truth or Dare game with Jared. I can't wait to learn more. This book has been really entertaining and has kept me on edge the whole time.

I started the final book in this trilogy, One of us is Back. It's starting out reintroducing and updating on the old characters. It's been revealed that Jake, the guy who helped Simon in the first book, is being let out of jail. I can't wait to see where this story goes from here.

I got a little farther in the book. Phoebe's brother is acting weird, laughing at violent videos online. It turns out he was the one to continue the game after Phoebe's sister tried to stop it, but he doesn't know Phoebe knows. At the end of the chapter, She runs into Jake and he helps change her tire.

I'm at chapter 9 now. Addy and Maeve saw a picture of Jake fixing Phoebe's tire, so now they're upset with her. There was a billboard that said "Time for a new game". Everyone is worried about it because they don't want anything else bad to happen. I'm excited to see what it will be.

There's been a lot since last time. Phoebe was missing for a day and they found her unconscious in a shed, but she was fine. Then they found Reggie, one of Nate's roommates, dead in the high school. Everyone is worried Jake is doing all this for revenge. I'm excited to see who it will be.

Addy and Nate found out who killed Reggie, it was two people who work with them. They are trying to get revenge for the death of their father. They kidnapped Phoebe and Jake, and knocked out Nate. Now they're taking Addy to their house because she lied saying she'll help them. I wonder what will happen next and if the rest of Addy's friends will come help.

I was able to finish One of us is Back. The girl who kidnapped Addy, Phoebe, and Jake ended up shooting Jake and fleeing after Cooper came to save them. Now I started Five Survive. 6 teenagers are on a road trip in an RV trying to get to their campsite. Right now, their phones just stopped working. I wonder what will happen next.

There is now a shooter watching them from outside their RV. He popped their tires and will shoot them if they leave the RV, but he's hiding so they can't see him. He'll let them go if they reveal the secret he's looking for, but no one knows what the secret is. I hope they are all able to escape the shooter, and I'm excited to see what will happen next.

Red, the main character, revealed that the secret is most likely hers. Now Oliver, her best friend's brother is accusing her and threw her out of the RV. The sniper didn't shoot her, but he's still suspicious and thinks she's a spy. He's very angry and violent towards her, and everyone else. Now, he's trying to send his sister out dressed as Red to get help. I hope the plan will work.

The plan unfortunately did not work, and the sister was shot. She made it out alive though. One of Red's friends, Arthur, was working with the sniper, and found out that the secret was Reds, but he didn't want to hurt her. They called the police, but Oliver tried to kill Arthur, and was killed by the sniper. The police accidentally shot Red, but in the end everyone but Oliver survived. Arthur is on the run now, and it ended with him giving a letter to Red so she could meet up with him one last time.
