         <description><![CDATA[<p>Which film makes cultural reference to this country?</p><p><br/></p><p>A well known film that references Thai Muay Thai is Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior (2003), starring Tony Jaa. This film spectacularly showcases traditional Muay Thai techniques and their cultural significance in Thailand, as well as popularising this martial art around the world.</p><p><br/></p><p>Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior is a Thai action film that tells the story of Ting, a young man from a rural village who is a master of traditional Muay Thai. The plot begins when the head of Ong-Bak, a sacred Buddha statue that protects his village, is stolen. Ting travels to Bangkok to recover it and confront the city's criminals and mobsters. Throughout the film, Ting uses his Muay Thai skills to defeat his enemies and demonstrate the strength and honour of his culture. The film is famous for its realistic combat scenes, without wires or special effects, highlighting Tony Jaa's physical prowess and the tradition of Muay Thai.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Which film makes cultural reference to this country?</p><p><br/></p><p>The film tells the story of how Marley, played by Kingsley Ben-Adir, survives an assassination attempt in 1976 and then returns to Jamaica to organise the historic One Love Peace Concert, an event designed to unite rival factions in the midst of the island's political crisis.</p><p><br/></p><p>Bob Marley was the world's most famous reggae musician and a great promoter of the Rastafarian faith. Rastafarianism is a spiritual and cultural movement that originated in Jamaica in the 1930s. It combines elements of Christianity, Pan Africanism and the idea that Haile Selassie Emperor of Ethiopia, is the reincarnation of God (whom they call Jah).</p><p>For Rastafarians, Africa is the promised land and a symbol of freedom and dignity for the descendants of slaves. They also use marijuana as a sacrament to meditate and get closer to Jah.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
