I would like to see some sessions on Crowdstrike. I feel like the implementation of this software was very rushed. The dashboard has so many menus, it feels overwhelming to use.

Coach Sessions

As a digital learning coach I'd like to see more sessions that help me in leadership, coaching, etc.

Conversations around what schools are doing. Just period that's it. It's always helpful to hear what other schools are doing. So maybe adding panels into your proposal types if they aren't already?

I like sessions on how to utilize technology in meaningful ways.

AI Taskforce

We are in the process of developing a team across our district to be in charge of developing common language, guidelines, and AI literacy for teachers and students. I would love to hear from districts that have done this work (or are in the process). We learn best from each other! This would also be a good Panel Discussion.

Senate Bill 78 and HB1004 Discussion on how schools are responding to this. By the time HECC Conference comes around the bills may have been passed or altered differently - or not passed - but still if passed a roundtable would be good to see how other schools are responding to these possible new requirements. Bonus if we get a DOE person or even a state legislator to attend

I love when Google gives us an update on their new services. They do a much better job than a reseller. Hopefully they join us again and maybe get to repeat some sessions. The ones I wanted to attend last year went up against other "I gotta go to this" sessions. :) Maybe even a partial day session?

Several on the HECC listserve have commented lately on using AI to create simple apps and scripts to better help with workload. This would be a good peer-peer session and possibly go with the 'Budget Minded Software' suggestion

How do we help youth regulate digital interaction?

I see young people (and older) engaged with a screen so much, they loose touch with reality. Screen time given as a digital "recess" because the students crave what the experience feeds them. Desire for online interaction overrides the human experience available. Teachers frustrated with students who just seem to want the next video game or video clip. I see small children in the community given a phone or a tablet to "pacify' them into comfort.

Question: What tools or strategies can we offer students to help them regulate their own online experience so the can thrive offline as well. What role does analog still play in our digital well being?
