In verses 4-6 it sys that if we follow the commandments then you will be blessed. In president Monson's talk it says "Open your hearts, even your very souls, to the sound of that special voice which testifies of truth." I think that this means that if we listen t the promptings of the holy ghost we will have the power to resist temptation and will be blessed.
