My teachers invested in me. I was very successful in school.  I was a child who saw teachers as my heroes. School was a warm spot in my heart. I wanted to be “that” teacher.  I wanted to be a dedicated and hardworking teacher who would instill the love of school in my students, bring out their talents, make them realize how unique and special they are, showing hem how learning can be fun, and that school was a safe and wonderful place to be.

As a child, I always said I would be a teacher. But in college,  I was a drama major with an (almost) minor in Psychology. As I decided where the path would take me, I realized teaching was the perfect meld of my skills.
