Small groups at a time. Place coloured dots in a line (choose as many as you would like). Give the children a word (dog). The children will have to identify each sound by jumping to different dots. For example, d (student will jump on the first dot), o (the student will jump on the second dot) etc. Make sure students are verbally identifying the sounds to you and the group.
