MYSTERY science

Doug (the creator) of MYSTERY science created enjoyable NGSS aligned lessons on his website. These lessons are fantastic phenomena which students can interest themselves easily. Each lesson has an introductory video, an inquiry, and a realistic exercise to assist the students. Along with providing the instructor with a straightforward guide to help them outline the lesson, including the materials, worksheets, and extensions. Not only does Doug create the website and share it with a classroom, but he also takes the time to answer any question left behind from learners to answer in a short video for clarification. I personally believe that this website is very beneficial for students from kindergarten to fifth grade however a small defect is that it will have a limitation to free access; concluding in the need to be purchased.

Generation Genius is created by the three different actresses portrayed in the videos. Their videos are developed and synchronized standards in cooperation with the National Science Teaching Association. The website is created to provide engaging, instructional videos coupled with lesson plans, exercises, assessments, readings, and more for students from kindergarten to eighth grade. The only bad aspect of Generation Genius is that it is temporarily free. After one month it must be purchased for further educational use.

Paul Andersen created THE WONDER of SCIENCE, an influential website providing all useful information on NGSS standards, teaching investigative methods, diverse theories on phenomena, and tests. Not only did he provide an awesome free website for NGSS standards but he also provides kindergarten through twelfth-grade instructors with a step by step guide through his video on the website. The creator did an excellent job giving instructors accessible resources some of which are but not limited to inquiry cards, posters, mini-lessons, planning cards, and learning plans.

NSTA was formed by the American Science Teachers Association and the American Council of Science Teachers. NSTA provides many staff the ability to work from school or home. It too has been very beneficial for all during this pandemic. This website not only gives students enriching content such as lectures, books, journals and external services, but it also provides teachers and administrators with learning opportunities to participate. Those with accounts can create such things like a catalog for e-products, create desire lists and learning plans. Although this is a magnificent site to use from all students from Transitional kindergarten to twelfth grade it is only temporarily free. After a thirty day free trial, one must pay to remain using the fantastic website.

Lesson Planet is a non-profit education organization based in Santa Barbara, California. It offers instructor-reviewed tools for teacher and parent use. The services within this website are designed to complement traditional and non-traditional kindergarten education through grade twelve. This seems like a great website for teachers to work upon from other educators lessons, better their own lesson, and share/review any lesson they would like to. The only displeasing part is that it is temporarily free and will need to be purchased for further use after the free trial.
