He beats Leo until he's on the ground, struggling to breath. The thing that stops him is the fire alarm. Before the attack Sue had been making dinner and it had been left in the oven and was now burning. Andrew goes to shut the alarm off but after he leaves the room he hears Sue trying to help Leo off the ground. He decided to separate them so Leo can remain weak and Sue can't help him. Sue gets placed in the bathroom where she finds a nail file and breaks her zip ties. She gets to the bed, flops down onto it and tries to reach for the phone but Andrew begins to stab her in the back. After Andrew thinks Sue is dead he turns to Leo who is crawling down the hall covering his neck wound with shorts. Andrew leaves Leo to bleed out and begins to clean the crime scene. Leo survived his injury and was able to quickly identify Alecia and Andrew. They were arrested that night on attempted murder charges.
