Frantoio restaurant (the Italian word for olive press) opened in 1995 in a massive, 6,000ft space at 152 Shoreline Hwy. near the entry to Mill Valley’s Tam Junction. It was bustling, nightly. In the years since, the building’s have changed names have changed: Floodwater, East Brother, as have the style, but the heart of it all remains simple: camaraderie. Connection. Rooting for your teams. A bit of debate. But more than anything, it’s connection.
