Before Brown v. the Board of education, children in schools were segregated but after Brown sued the board of education in Kansas after his black daughter who was not allowed into an all white school.
2. In this event the government realized their "Seperate but equal" schools were not benefitting so they assessed and got rid of segregation in schools for everyone to be equal. 

3. This event is important to the Civil Rights movement because our future schools weren't going to be segregated, we learned from our mistakes and we will create a more equal country in the future.

3. This event is important to the Civil Rights movement because it shows that black men and woman weren't allowed to love who they wanted to and were treated very unfairly when they had romantic experiences with a white man or woman.

2.  Martin Luther King had  arranged the March on Washington to promote anti-racism peacefully. The same year he had gave the "I have a dream" speech to also promote anti-racism peacefully.
