Part 1: Rainsford just got done killing zaroff

Rainsfords had a chilling grin after killing Zaroff. He jumped into bed excitedly having truly lost it.

"He had never slept in a better bed". When he woke up the next morning he was the happiest he had been in a long time. He took a nice hot shower and brushed his teeth. Rainsford put on Zaroff's fancy robe. He fixed him some breakfast and went outside to eat. While eating rainsford heard a distant noise which at first sounded like an animal. He ignored it at first until it was still going on after 10 minutes, then he finally went to go look.

Part 2: Rainsfords hears voices and people running

After a few minutes of walking Rainsford heard what sounded like shouting, he heard branches breaking and approaching footsteps. All of a sudden Rainsford heard men shouting at him. He heard the men saying capture him don't let them escape. Rainsford started running off the trail in the woods until he found a big tree to climb up. Rainsford waited for a while until He saw the men running past the tree. He carefully climbed down and snuck away until he came up to an abandoned house. Not knowing what to do next, Rainsford set up post and waited until morning.

Part 3: Nightfall arrives and rainsford tries to get back to the house.

Once morning arrived Rainsford made his way out of the house. As soon as he made it outside he carefully snuck to his house. He had to avoid the trail as men were crawling all over it. After a while of sneaking around Rainsford finally saw his house. Rainsford took off running to the gate. Once he made it to the gate when all of a sudden he heard a noise, it was men shouting and several men running directly towards him. Suddenly Rainsford felt a sharp pain in his head and everything went black.

Part 4: Rainsford gets captured

When Rainsford woke up he was surrounded by men. Once they saw he was awake they started yelling at him about what happened to Zaroff and why there were so many bodies on the island. Rainsford asked how they knew Zaroff and they said that Zaroff was there commander. They said Zaroff usually came to check on them every few weeks. But Zaroff hadn't so they came looking for him. After that they started pointing guns at him and asking him what happened to Zaroff. Rainsford kept saying he didn't know but they people didn't believe him. The more they asked the more violent they got until Rainsford finally confessed he had killed Zaroff but only because Zaroff tried to kill him. He said Zaroff killed the other people. The men didn't believe that Zaroff killed the people and blamed Rainsford.

The men ordered that Rainsford would be locked away as they said he was insane.

Part 5: Rainsfords faith

The men prepared a boat for Rainsford to be transported. After about an hour Rainsford was put on the boat and he was attached to a pole by a rope. Filled with rage Rainsford came up with a plan to get revenge. He started shimming up and down on the rope, kicking and grunting until he finally broke free. He immediately ran to the captain's pit and hid. Soon the captain walked in and sat down.

"I am still a beast at bay" Rainsford said.

Soon Rainsford realized he was the only one left on the ship all alone. Rainsford was suddenly scared wondering where he would go. He felt he had truly lost himself which was something he promised himself he would never do. Rainsford was scared of himself, he didn't know what to do. He did what he thought was the only thing he could do. He swam back to the island and started luring people there so they could play his deadly game.
