My name is Burak. I am an avid language learner and I love languages. 

It all started with hearing different languages that my brother was studying in his room. I used to sneak in and listen. I was mesmerised by the unique musicality of each language. I was also intrigued by the fact that with different combitions of sounds you could communicate with people from different countries and cultures. There and then, I wanted in and I thought “Cool! Sign me up!” (well, not exactly because I didn’t know any English back then but you get the picture). Since that moment, I have been studying different languages, not just for pragmatic reasons, but for the pure joy that it brings as well. Some of the languages I have been studying on and off are English, Spanish (pienso que es uno de los idiomas más bellos del mundo), French, and German. Apart from that, some of the languages I studied at one point in my life are Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Persian and a few others.

I am here to make lifelong friends and have fun!

I started to learn English at the age of eight through the magazine of my brother which is called Ozmo and video games. I was playing games uncomprehendingly and English was a problem to me when I was a child but I didn't quit. I "stole" the dictionary of my brother and I started to search for the Turkish meanings of the words that I dont know. After sometimes I didn't need dictionary because I memorise most of the words. 

I am interested in boxing, video games and all kind of sport activities. I used to boxing and playing football when I was in the high school. I spend the most of my time doing physical activities such as jogging, sparing with my brother and body building in the school's gym.

This project will be an awesome experience for me. I am looking forward to hearing from you guys!
