Disaster officials reported landslides and flooding after heavy rain in Pereira, Risaralda Department on 11 November 2021. Four houses were destroyed in a landslide in Danubio district and 3 people lost their lives as a result.

Bolivia – Deadly Flash Floods
The incident occurred on 12 November 2021 after heavy rainfall caused the Mercke and Mapiri rivers to break their banks in Larecaja province. Bolivia’s National Naval Hydrography Service reported that levels of the Mapiri river jumped by over 3 metres on 12 November.

Canada and USA – Hundreds Rescued or Evacuated After Floods
Rain hitting steep slopes in areas of southern British Columbia triggered numerous mudslides, floods and rockslides. Several roads were washed out or blocked with debris. As of 16 November Drive BC reported road closures in over 40 locations

Italy – 1 Dead, Many Rescued After Floods in Sardinia
Heavy rain of over 100 mm in 4 hours caused flooding in Sardinia, the Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea. At least 1 person has died and several injured.

India – Severe Floods and Landslides After Heavy Rain in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh
A depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal brought heavy rainfall to parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh in southeastern India from 16 November 2021. At least 9 people have died in rain-related incidents in Tamil Nadu. Hundreds of people have been evacuated or rescued by police, military and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry.
