The cost of commercial, chemical-based products can be very high. Long term health concerns for the family, and environmental pollution caused by their manufacture and disposal can be eliminated by using natural cleaners that you can even make at home. E.g baking soda, lemon, and natural soap.

When going to the supermarket, we often need 2-5 plastic bags, depending on how much groceries we buy. These bags can be harmful for the environment because when they are sent to a landfill site, the plastic builds up and uses a lot of space, and potentially never breaks down. Also, when the bags get dumped into the ocean, it can harm wildlife and also build up. If we use reusable bags for groceries this means we prevent landfill buildup, and save wildlife in the oceans.
