Jacob.... was just vibing but also did believe that the affect that COVID made on his job that he was employed with were not fair.

   It was 9 pm and the sun had set not too long ago on a mild night in the early spring. This Friday night the boys decided to hang out but we have never been a group to just chill or party. During the following week we had prepared up a plan to have a full scale whole house Nerf War. 
   One of my friends conveniently had the house to himself so no family members/civilians could get caught in the crossfire. Two teams of six one began inside the other began outside. The goal was to infiltrate and kill or be killed. We played by honesty rule with our bins of nerf darts, headshot and out or a 3 shot count. 
   Although after a well organized first game it broke out into chaos. One thing led to another and instead of fighting inside, we ended up running around the front and backyard. We were running down the sidewalks with our automatic nerf guns revved and spraying. This was by far one of our best ideas yet, although things went south when we gathered inside to prepare for the next round. 
   Three cop cars and a k9 unit were positioned at their vehicles blinding us with flashlights as we came to answer the knock on the door. They had received a call that kids were intentionally shooting paintball guns at the neighborhood houses. We were demanded to drop our “weapons” where we were standing and leave the house at once. None of us were given the chance to collect our belongings. Nor were we allowed to help clean the house which was now turned into a battlefield with tables and couches flipped for cover, and the entire premise scattered with darts. 
The only questions that were asked was who owned the house, not even what was really going on. They treated us too stuck up with pride like they just busted a bunch of kids smoking and drinking which was not the case. I do believe there are good and bad cops but I believe a lot of them try to act too big and bad instead of really resolving situations.

(Ryan) My dad is a retired cop and I look up to him for taking up such a brave job. I've heard stories of my dad protecting the lives of others and I couldn't see myself not supporting to the police. (Liam) Also, there was a time when I could've gotten in trouble with the police. But they let me go with a warning when I probably should have went to jail, this showed me the importance of thinking about my actions. Ghali had a slightly different event,  he experienced a miracle. He could've been locked out of his house, late at night with his phone dead. But the backdoor was open, I believe the police would've helped him though, if he tried to reach out to them.

I personally believe life is not fair in most cases and circumstances. I can’t come up with a story of my own at the moment but I do have examples. If we look at the issue we can see that some people don’t acquire the same lifestyle or environment. Although, each person regardless of their life has issues and each person receives something that the other might not have, life can still be unfair regarding what exactly each person is going through and the matter to the outcomes they have received. Although this is a silly example to tell, let's say there are people who are extremely talented in a certain area or field, some people who may need more practice or are not meeting standard requirements in a field may succeed despised the other talented person who can go unnoticed. A more serious issue to be discussed can be that some people may do wrongs to a person or possibly harm them, and not have any consequences or be caught ever in their life, while someone may be accused of the serious matter and get prosecuted for something they did not do. Another example, a homeless person and a rich person. Although both might have things that the other wish for, a same situation can still be cruel and unfair to a homeless person while a rich person is more able to handle it. Therefore life is unfair.
