Angelica is spoiled by her parents, Drew and Charlotte, however her birth mother died of a heroin overdose after Angelica was born, thus making Angelica a crack baby. As a result she developed paranoid schizophrenic, which the trauma and mental illness gives her the want to escape from her distressing reality.  To make her life interesting and livable, she creates the counterparts Chuckie, Tommy, Phil, Lil, Dill, and Susie. Drew married Charlotte, who is materialistic call girl admired by Angelica because she wants Charlotte to be her real mother. Another thing, Angelica is connected to and obsessed with her doll which is a depiction of what she recollects of her mother.
