Were the studies conducted by the foster system itself, or by outside organizations? What I'm asking is, how accurate is the data, or could it be much worse? Because, wouldn't children who have been traumatized by the system be less likely to be completely truthful when asked to report their own experiences (when they might still be living with the foster family that exacerbated these mental health issues)?
