1. I think it will be fun, mainly because I'll get to read books.
2. I learn best when I'm independent. I'm not the best in groups.
3. I think dad jokes are the highest quality of humor.

1. The point is to preserve stories through their original sources.
2. It shows the wonderful stories that could've been lost if they weren't recorded.
3. His purpose is to inform the audience. If more people know what his project is, he'll have a greater chance of growing it.

I did not think the video was very biased. It presented both sides of the argument fairly equally, and stated what was happening/ had already happened. If there was a bias, it might be a little toward changing the names.

My opinion is changing the name "redskins" wasn't a bad idea. I do feel like as a society we put too much power in words, but I do agree that having something considered a slur is not at all appropriate for an athletic team.

Puritans didn't seek fame, and her being a renowned poet didn't fit in with that belief. It even says that she had no intention of ever showing the world her writing.

Some daily habits I think someone could do to become a successful happy person are making their bed, "getting ready" first thing after they wake up, and making to-do lists. I learned this from both experience and observation, initially noticing that of the most put-together people I know, the number one on my list ALWAYS had her bed made. Always. Since I've started doing that I've felt more productive throughout the day because when my bed is all tidy I can't just climb back in.

As time goes on the devil becomes more and more human appearing as well as no longer being viewed as purely evil. They wanted to make the devil more like a human, and show common people that they too could defy a higher power (rich people), even if those decisions turned out badly.

He invented a new form of poetry: free verse. He mades poems that were lists with no rhyme or meter.

A metaphor is image created to describe a feeling. An extended metaphor is a metaphor created and developed throughout the literary work.
Homework is a flash flood, suddenly drowning you where you once stood on dry land. The waters die down, and the mud begins to crack beneath your feet, until it begins raining again.

The painting on the left is more sad looking, it has darker colors and harsher lighting. the subject is facing a window, and it looks more candid. The painting on the right is more happy, softer colors, and the subject is very posed.

The Romanticism painting has a model that is sitting in a very posed manner, has light sources everywhere, and is a softer background, draped in fabric. The defining difference in Realism vs. Romanticism art is whether the painting is presented as sharply detailed or soft and glowy.

The theme that best fits the story is freedom. Louise's main realization after hearing of her husband is that she is no longer bound by the ties of marriage and is able to live life as she wishes.

Women went to work during the war, and many of them continued to do so after the war. There were many job opportunities after the war, and new technologies as well as trends allowed housewives enough time to have jobs/careers. The birth rate dropped, and families were getting smaller. Child labor laws were developed, and kids were going to school in larger numbers than others. Schools began to hold courses with more variety than just core subjects. College became an option for women. There weren't really any negative aspects mentioned.
