When i was in London, two women gave me a beautiful rose. I thought it was a gift, so i smiled and said thank you. But then they asked me for money! I was so surprised, i tried to give back the rose but it was late, i ended up paying...and walking away with the most expensive rose in my life.

for some reason, on almost every trip I take, birds always seem to poop on me, i don´t know why

When I was a child, I remember that at my dad’s job, they gave us tickets for the amusement park and when we got there, we left the tickets in the house. My dad had to return by bus.

Well, I generally do not travel much. However, This not a very funny experience. We were on our high school trip as the end of the scholar year. We were on the bus, travelling around 40 minutes when a kid just threw up, beside me. So you can imagine the rest.

I remember on my last trip to Guanacaste I fell asleep in a chair while watching the sunset. I had already bathed and everything, no one told me the tide was coming in or they didn’t notice I was there and huge wave knocked me over.

Once, I went to Pizza Hut with my boyfriend’s family. It was a cold night, and the grandma asked for aguadulce, but they didn’t have it. So, instead, she asked for a beer. I thought it was funny how quickly she changed her mind.

I got lost doing the Mae challenge with my friends. We ended up on a man's farm a kilometer from where we were supposed to go.

2019's trip

Back in October 2019, I went on a trip with my parents — a long trip, 28 days of pure adventure. Our itinerary was a dream: New York, New Jersey, Niagara Falls, Washington… you name it.

One day, when we were heading back from Manhattan to New Jersey, we bought train tickets for $3.89 (yep, I’ll never forget that oddly specific amount). We went to the platform, found the train with the number and color they told us, hopped on, and I was like: Wow! This train is gorgeous — clean, comfy, with super cushy seats and even plugs to charge our electronics.

Even then, just to be sure, I double-checked with the ticket guy if this was the right train, and he said yes.

Long story short… the passengers looked straight out of a fashion magazine, dressed to the nines, with high-end designer bags. Turns out, we were on the wrong train. The tickets for that ride? $89 for the trip we were taking. Yep — we rode a luxury train for $3.89 each.

One time, I traveled with some friends to stay at one of their houses. We were all sharing a bedroom, and early in the morning, I was still asleep but suddenly started laughing like crazy apparently because of a dream. 😂 When I finally woke up I was laughing yet, everyone was standing at the door, looking both scared and amused. I still have no idea what I was dreaming, but I guess I’m the kind of person who laughs out loud in my sleep!

When I was, I think 4 years old, my family and I took a ferry to an Island, I don't remember its name. For some reason I've never being seasick, but my older sister has always a delicate stomach. All the way, she throwed up while I was pretty happy eating everything from the bouffete...
