This quote connects to my social location and worldview because for me, I feel like the way I describe myself is based on the type of people I surround myself with and the people who truly care for me are going to be the people there helping me when I need it the most. I feel like I care a lot about others and what they think which is important, but can also be challenging. I need to realize that those waiting for me and that are there for me on the sidelines even when I am in last place are the type of people that I want to surround myself with for the rest of my life.

For me, it meant starting this new school in La Canada, gaining freedom, friends and responsibility along the way. Graduating from a small school in Arcadia being round the same 30 people for almost 12 years then jumping into a place surrounded by so many other high schools was a whirl wind, but something that gave me so many opportunities. For me, this quote really puts my life into perspective and reminds me of the days where I believe that the entire Christian faith is made up. Over time, going to a Catholic school, I have realized that I have always been surrounded by those who think the same as I do, then when I went to FSHA, I actually met people that identified with different religions allowing me to question who I am. Many say that questioning your faith is bad, but I think it is almost necessary in order to fully understand the faith you follow.
