Many teachers are afraid to utilize wiki, however I have found that wiki can provide a great overall summary for a topic. It also brings up the discussion of evaluating resource's, and not trusting everything that is on the internet. Wiki also provides access to many other sources of information, such as academic works/research articles.

Author-Oversimplified

Oversimplified videos are very entertaining for middle school age students. They also are fairly accurate and cover much of the information that I show in class. It's hard to keep middle school students entertained by a video, but these videos do as good of a job as any I have found.
