Hey, seniors! Our batch was only able to spend around 9 months on campus and in that short time I wasn't really able to get to know all of you (as juniors HAHA), but during the few times that I did meet people from your batch, I always thought that you were all very friendly, willing to tell us everything about DS, and had a great bond with each other as well! It was really nice and wholesome to see and it made me want to be more active in DevSoc.

But beyond that, I'm even more grateful for the fact that despite your hectic schedules and thesis commitments, you would often still make time to join us on the DevSoc Discord or participate in events in order to interact with the new members and freshies. I'm especially grateful for being able to get to know you all as well through those random nights. I remember being too lazy to join any of the breakout rooms during LeaDSem Socials Night (?) so I just stayed with you guys in the main room and listened to you debate about the most random things HAHA. Thank you so much again for being such a fun and welcoming presence in DevSoc, and congratulations in advance for finally finishing senior year! You deserve all the rest in the world after this hehe!

Also just some shoutouts to a few people:

Jimbo, I'm truly, truly grateful to have had you as my VP this year. Thank you for pushing and challenging me all the way up to my campaign for VP, but also for still being a friend.

Angel, thank you for the random nights of kwentuhan and strange games on the DevSoc Discord but also for being someone I can go to for anything <3

Tina, you really inspire me as a leader and person. Thank you for always being game to impart both your wisdom and craziness on any occasion HAHA

Dums, thank you for being such a great and reliable House Head (and eventually, COMELEC Head HAHA) and for sharing funny things on Facebook!

Bea, thank you for sharing my Amazing Race obssession AHAHAHA and for being one of d nicest people ever :(((

I'm really sad that us the sophomores only got to spend 9 months with you in on site class. You guys are genuinely such fun, friendly, and welcoming people. I remember being a shy freshie. But yall would always make it a point to talk to me. Our interactions were so light and welcoming. You guys made me believe that DS, as a course and as people, could be my home.

I still felt your welcoming nature online. I know that you guys were really busy with individual thesis. But despite that, you guys would always make tambay in DevSoc Discord, chat in the MVP 316 gc, and constantly remind us we could approach any of you guys for help. Yall were going through a lot but you still offered your support to us undergrads. I really appreciate that.

I'm also thankful for the fact that you guys always sympathize with us in every DS struggle. When we'd suffer through things like 100.1 orals with Leland, confusion in Maam Czar's class, or Maam Ana's low scores, you'd extend sympathy and comfort to us. Somehow, going through those things was less stressful with yall by our side.

I'm really gonna miss you and I wish we could have had one last get together to send you off :( But I hope this Padlet is enough to express our gratitude and say goodbye to you guys hehe.

we might not have been able to all get to know each other in real life, but i could always feel your presence online: through zoom and discord calls, endless advice giving for our endless worries in development, and the words of wisdom and comfort you guys have spared for us so readily and eagerly. your actions, words, and legacy has left such an important imprint on what ds is and what it will be, and i hope all the best for your journeys after college. hohol soon! <3

Despite not meeting you irl, I really felt welcome because of you guys in DevSoc. Thank you for being so open and friendly to us and for making DS feel like home!! We may not have met in person, but you guys surely made sure that the spirit and tight-knit bond DS is known for, felt in the strongest way possible despite the circumstance. thank you for never-ending support to us lower batches. we've never even met but you're always so warm and welcoming. i appreciate all the late night talks i got to have with some of you, and i've definitely learned a lot! it's just sad that we never got to meet personally. :(
