In the Inca Empire there were three classes. These classes were The Emperor, Nobles, and Commoners. The Emperor is at the top and was thought to be related to Inti (a sun god) which gave him unlimited authority, he owned everything in the empire, and essentially had the best life any one could imagine.
https://www.fcusd.org/cms/lib/CA01001934/Centricity/Domain/1168/Inca%20Class%20Structure%20Readings.pdf

The Nobles were made of leaders who helped in the empire. The Nobles enjoyed not having to pay taxes, given land, servants, llamas, the right to have more than one wife, and were believed to be related to be descendants of Manco Capac (the founder of the Inca Dyansty). They also had 3 levels of nobles which were Capac Incas(considered to be related to the emperor), Hahua Incas (not considered related), and curacas (leaders of captured people).
https://www.fcusd.org/cms/lib/CA01001934/Centricity/Domain/1168/Inca%20Class%20Structure%20Readings.pdf

The lowest on the social structure is the Commoners which would make up most of the people in the Inca Empire. The Commoners were farmers and herders who were required to give to the government (sort of like taxes) through crops and buildings. The commoners would grow squash, beans, peppers, peanuts, over 20 types of corn, and more than 200 types of potatoes which served as the most important crop of them all for it could survive the all types of weather and at high altitudes. As stated earlier, Commoners were required to give a large amount of their crops to the government; the government would then store it for warriors, temple priests, and people in need. https://www.fcusd.org/cms/lib/CA01001934/Centricity/Domain/1168/Inca%20Class%20Structure%20Readings.pdf
