SHRDC will continue to deliver its programmes through a blended online-to-offline format, supported by its Deep-Dive Learning methodology, which combines wide international reach with more intensive on-site learning opportunities. In parallel, as MITI Headquarters, SHRDC will work to enhance the quality and impact of MITI training by raising standards, expanding two-way learning, and incorporating more experiences from Metropolis member cities. With new MITI centres planned for 2026, the strengthened network will create broader opportunities for international cooperation, peer learning, and the global sharing of practical urban solutions.

In close coordination with Metropolis and partner institutions, SHRDC will work to raise training standards, expand two-way learning, and incorporate more experiences and policy practices from Metropolis member cities into the programme content.

Building on the momentum generated by the 2025 MITI Sharing Forum and the Metropolis Congress, SHRDC also plans to support the establishment of new MITI centres in the first half of 2026, thereby further strengthening the global MITI network and widening opportunities for international cooperation and city-to-city learning.
