by Francois Mulder
is about human trafficking and the perspective what it’s like to be a sex slave. Francois tells a story with his lyrics, "She paints on a smiling face
and tries to forget the last cold embrace.
She wants to run away.
Can't face another day.
She'd rather join the dead than spend the night with strangers in her bed." Listeners can witness his tone throughout the piece. It shows the feelings he has toward the subject and how compassionate his is about making a change.

by Logic brings awareness to suicide. Through the song, Logic sings "I don't want to be alive, I just want to die today". By the end of the song he sings "I finally wanna be alive I don't want to die". This shows there is hope and things can get better. The song also features singers Alessia and Khalid. Listeners can witness that by having more singers, they know they're not alone. This piece is very inspiring and touching.

In my piece, I would like to bring awareness to bullying. I have experienced whats its like to be a victim of bullying. After years of being torn down, I finally am able to share my story with others to help them get through it. By creating this piece, I am able to shed light on the subject in a positive way. I believe the story behind the song is the most influential. I will be composing a touching song. Piano is my initial instrument.

by Billie Holiday is one of the most tragic and disturbing songs ever recorded. “Strange Fruit” is about the practice of lynching – when a group of people kill someone for an offense, usually by hanging, without a legal trial. This was common at the time the song was released. Listeners should really pay attention to the lyrics and understand the story behind them.

Graduate high school, start a family and now thats all messed up. She lost everything, her future and all. Just because of a situation that was so small.

No one seems to realize the power of words and actions. I hope those kids that caused this are full of satisfaction. Its nobody fault but theirs, the cruel words they said. Caused this sweet little girl to end up dead.
