2. Cohn is described as a very shy man who is not really domestic, since he get bossed around by his wife. He is a impressionable character,. For instance, he found the opinion to dislike Paris just because he read a book that contained that opinion. He is somwhat weak, mentally (probably caused by his first divorce). 

3.His first divorce influnced Cohn to never get too attached to  a woman evr again and if the time would ever come to call off a future relationship, he would make sure to be the one to dump her and not ever again allow himself to get dumped by her. Incidentally, this could explain why he never really showed true affections to Frances (for instance) and as mentioned in the book "he had never been in love in his life". 

4.The personality of being impressionable is recognized by Gustav.

Cohn is a very motivated author and he truly seems to enjoy writing. That is something that we have in common (Mitra).

He became a boxer because of how he was being treated even though he didn't like boxing at all. 
He was very in shape and had a flattened nose because of a fight. He was fast and a had fighter mentality.

He was a nice person, very shy and never fought anyone except for in the ring. 
Robert was a member of one of the richest and oldest families in New York. He got married young and had 3 children but later got divorced. 

He met his new girlfriend Frances in Paris. 
He is currently in an early midlife crisis and looks to travelling to solve his bad mental state.

We recognize ourselves in Cohn because of his shyness and lack of motivation.

4.  Yes. He has a lot of different personality traits and every person can at least find one or two that they can relate to in some way.
For example, shyness is very common personality trait in a lot of people. There's probably many people in this classroom who would recognize they're shy.
