The plot put 30 barrels of explosives in the cellars under the Parliament Building.The plan could been perfect except that someone sent a letter to the King, warning hi, about the plan.
On the evening before the ceromony, Guy Fawkes, a plotter, was caught by the King's soldiers and and also the plot was discovered. The soldiers arrested Guy and also other plotters.
