Thou shalt not snoop around in other people's computer files.
I believe the third commandment of computer ethics is violated most often by students because they often invade someone's privacy. Snooping around someone else's computer files is disrespecting someone's privacy of personal data. Mostly out of curiosity or malicious intent students could snoop around another computer files without considering consequences.

I think these violations occur due to the lack of awareness of violating someone's privacy. Some may believe it's a harmless act but it could have serious implications. The lack of consequences show how the rules and guidelines don't apply to them where the violation occur more frequently.

Q3. What do you think could be done to reduce or eliminate such unethical behavior?

I believe in educating about awareness and enforcing guidelines could reduce or eliminate such unethical behavior. Educating about awareness will teach students about respecting others privacies and that their actions could lead to consequences. Enforcing guidelines will established clear consequences for violations which could help deter students from engaging in unethical behavior.
