However, her worship is far older than her husband. 
 The goddess Hera blessed and protected a woman's marriage, bringing her fertility, protecting her children, and helping her find financial security. Hera was, in short, a complete woman, overseeing both private and public affairs.
But because of her beauty, that attracted her future husband, Zeus. who tricked Hera into taking him to her breast by changing himself into a small, frightened and wounded bird that elicited her pity. 
In which, later on Zeus return back to the lifestyle of a perverted man who would treated Hera not as good as he used to be.
Myth of Hera remind us of light and dark within each of us where joy and pain are link with each other by demonstrating the jealousy of Hera through the vengeance of Zeus' mortal son.
