I think the mean would be useful average for homebuyers because it will find the average price. You can use the mean to the average prices for the house prices so you will find the right house. The mode will tell you the most common house price among them which is an unknown value. The median will just tell you the middle price among the houses, which isn't helpful if you are trying to buy a cheaper house. This why I think the mean would be the most useful for homebuyers

I think that the average would be most efficient for this situation because median would not be accurate if there are outliers, and the mode would also be affected by outliers. For example there can be three home prices that are 75,000 dollars and two homes that are 850,000 dollars and 550,000 dollars. Therefore the mode would not be accurate either. But the mean would be the average of all the prices and the outliers would not affect it as much.

I think that the median would be the most efficient because it doesn't get thrown off by any outliers. There will probably be outliers because the different counties could be nicer, or not as nice, making the prices vary. The mean wouldn't work because it gets effected by outliers, and the mode might not work because the houses will probably cost different and the mode would be really random.

The mean would be the most useful because you can know to save up or have that amount of money. Also if your moving from house to house with the mean that can tell you how much you need to or your house for and how much you should sell your house for.

I think the mean would be the most efficient. It will be the exact average for the houses you are thinking of buying while the median could just be the middle of them. The houses in the state should not have a huge difference because location should not raise or lower because of location. If there is very big houses,

I think that the median is the best average for the home owners. Different places have huge ranges of prices in houses. Houses in a big city or a wealthy neighborhood would drag the average up and be unreliable. The median gives the middle of the data without being affected by bigger numbers. That would mean the median is the better choice.

I think mean would be the most useful. Any outliers could affect the median. However, the mean won't be affected that much. It's just  depending on the outlier's number. The mode won't be useful because there could be three of the same number that is an outlier. Another problem can, with median and mode is the prices that are spread out between each other. That is why mean is the most effective in helping the homebuyers.

I think that the mean would be the best for the home buyers because the median can get thrown off by outliers, but the mean stays in the somewhat center. The mode wouldn't work because, if one house has the same price, the mode sticks with that data price. Which can be unreliable to use for prices for a house.

I think the median would be the best measure of center because if their any really expensive houses it won't affect the data at all. So you could tell how expensive most of the houses actually are.

I think the mode would be most useful because there are many different types of houses that could cost up to any amount. The mode would tell you what most houses cost and buyers could plan accordingly. if you had 20 houses that cost 50000 and only 2 houses that cost 500000 it would throw off the mean making it less reliable.

I think it depends on the data set. if there are no outliers I think the mean will be the best measure of center because it finds the exact middle. If there were any outliers I think the median would be the best because it finds the best middle without being thrown off by any outliers.

I believe that the median is the best if there are NO OUTLIERS. The median is better with outliers because outliers would stretch the mean very high. The median will work better because it is the middle price, and since there are so many houses, the median would be the exact middle and therefore a very good average. :)

I think mean would be the best and most reliable measure. Median does not properly demonstrate what the prices are. If you had a very rich county, the median would not be able to properly show the combined prices. Mode does not take into account all prices and only shows a certain area and not representing all of the data.However, mean is a combination of all of the prices, representing richer, poorer and middle-class counties. In this case, the home owners WANT the data to be affected because they should see ALL the prices, and the average should represent that.

I think the median would be the most useful because if their are any outliers it wouldn't affect the data at all. The mean would be affected by all the outliers of the most expensive houses and really cheap houses.

I think mean is the most useful because it says he's telling people the average for the home prices. Even though there may be outliers, you have to include them because a house that you buy could be an outlier

I think that median would be the most useful to use in this situation. This is because home prices can vary from very low to very high. Mean would not work as well because the outliers might not be recognised.

I think mean is the best because it is a number that takes every number in the data set into account. For example, if you remove one number, this measure will change. Median changes too, but it only goes down one number in the data set. I think mean is more accurate

I think the mean would be a more accurate measure of center. The median would be off if there are any outliers. Mode could be deceiving if there is a lot of expensive houses but not as many cheap houses. Mean would work because it will use all of the numbers and find the exact middle.

I think the mean would be the best possible option for the most useful average for home buyers. Median would not be the best because if you have very different priced houses the median would not take this into account. This is the same with the mode and the fact that 2 houses rarely have the same price. With that being said Mean is the best possible option.

I think that the median would be the best measure of center to use in this case. Every home is a different price depending on size, style, and location which would allow there to be outliers. The median wouldn't be as effected with outliers than the mean would be. A larger house with lots of land would cost a lot more than a tiny home on a small lot. Mode doesn't put the other prices into consideration and the mean just gives an average and outliers can have a great impact on the mean.

sydney I think the median would be best because if there were any outliers the mean would be affected drasticly. Also if there was a huge mansion with lots of land land it would be a huge outlier and a small house with very little land would also be an outlier, which will mess us the data.The mode would not work because it does not take that many houses into considerstion.
