She does not eat as she can't afford it. These workers work in terrible conditions and hate there jobs, but there is no one to stick up for them so they spend there lives in poverty to provide for us. There have unjust working conditions. Factories are unsafe, and there have been building collapses and factory fires. The workers spend all day in horrible conditions, breathing in fumes that can kill them and they still don't get paid enough. The workers are constantly in danger of the building that they work in collapsing or lighting on fire. In order to prevent this happening to the workers they need better living conditions and they need higher wages, so that they can live.

The factory owner does not care about the conditions the workers are in. But if the big Fast Fashion brands help to rebuild the factories all of the workers will have safer conditions. The Fast Fashion brands get so much money every year and only pay there factory workers 50 cents. If the fashion brands start to pay the factories the slightest bit more it means all the workers will have a better life. It doesn't need to only be the fashion brands, more people can donate to charity to ensure that the workers in the factory will get higher wages. The owner/ director of the fashion brand H&M said herself in an interview, that she doesn't care about the lives and wellbeing of the factories workers working for her brand. There are multiple charities online supporting the wellbeing and lives of these innocent people. Fast fashion clothing is sold for lower prices to tempt customers into buying, this creates an increase in demand and consumption.  There is a mass production of clothes which enables people to get a job but not under perfect working conditions. In order to keep the fashion industry up and running the workers are paid poor wages. The fast fashion industry is so successful due to the fact that the workers are paid such low wages which enables customers to buy cheap clothing. Many Mall shops are slowly demising due to the pace of the fast fashion industry of which they can't keep up.

Some solutions to the economic value of the fast fashion industry is to raise more awareness about this topic amongst our society. Many people arent fortunate to get an education and learn more about this issue. The workers are paid a very low wage in order for clothing prices to be cheaper. If people were informed about this issue and prices of labour were increased many customers will feel comfortable paying a little bit more.

If our clothing was fully recyclable and made of fewer materials, would we still have the same environmental problems that we have today? The main environmental impacts include the pollution from factories, waste, land clearing due to the increase in factories as well as the transportation of globalised goods. 

When the air from the factories is burned, the fossil fuels emit harmful gases including carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide. These gases increase the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and this can result in global warming. The air pollution from factories in highly populated areas is worse because it can affect the environment as well as impacting humans. We can reduce the air pollution in factories by conserving the energy and turning off all appliances when they are not in use.

Firstly, to help the environment the big brands need to understand the impact that they are making on the environment. These brands need to address the chemicals, use of textiles waste and synthetic fabrics that do not break down and begin to use more recyclable fabrics that are better for the environment. Many brands like Nike, Burberry and Gap have all recently signed up to the Make Fashion Circular initiative. This initiative aims to improve the industry's record on sustainability and reduce global waste from fashion by recycling raw materials and products.
