This project went well for me especially the second time I did it. I learned how to warp a letter and how to duplicate it.

Donut Design

I enjoyed doing the donut project because I was able to be creative and I liked how the look of my Lemony Powdered Donut turned out. I learned how to create a gradient, cut out a shape, use the splatter paintbrush, and how to add a drop shadow.

Logo Parody

This project was harder for me because it was difficult to come up with creative ideas and copy the logo. This is my favorite parody because it turned out the cleanest. I learned how to use smoothing on the paintbrush tool.

Logo Initials

This project went well for me and my favorite logo was the western-like photo because it felt the most professional. The logo is simple enough to add on products and business cards, but has character by having a marbled look. For this project I learned how to find different fonts and connect letters into a design.

Flyer

This project went alright for me. I like the color scheme of this flyer and I feel like it accurately represents Art Club. I like the layout of this flyer except that I misspelled Tuesday. I learned how to organize information on flyers and work for a client.

Zombiewood

I enjoyed doing this project because I liked finding celebrities and changing their appearance. My favorite design is the Frankenstein Shawn Mendes. I learned how to use the paintbrush tool to change the skin color by lowering the opacity.

Logo For Kernes

I learned working for a client can be slightly difficult. Sometimes you may not know exactly what the client is looking for. I only knew I could use Kearney colors and something related to theater and choir. I think this design turned out the best for my client.

Movie Poster Parody

I think this project went fine because I have done it before, but I wish I had more time to work on it. I learned how to cut out images for the poster and look for a font similar to the movie poster. If I redid this project I would have picked movie posters that included one person. Overall I liked this project because I thought the outcomes turned out funny due to using people I know.

Famous Art Parody

I enjoyed turning people I know into silly photos. I think all of my painting replicas turned out pretty well. I learned how to use the clone tool and how to blend photos together. I also used the quick selection tool. This is my favorite design because they have the perfect facial expressions and their outfits fit well.

KHS Grad Ticket

I enjoyed working on the grad ticket for a client. I liked seeing my end result may be helpful for designing a grad ticket. I liked coming up with a design and including information to represent the senior's graduation.

Food Truck Logo

This was my least favorite design for the food truck project. I struggled how to make a good logo design with the colors. I think the logo turned out alright in the end. I learned how to add a drop shadow on an image.

Food Truck Design

This part of the food truck project was the most difficult. It was hard to stay within the lines. I learned how to use the paint bucket tool on a template. I like the colors I used for my food truck.

This was my favorite part of the food truck project. I think my menu turned out great with the color and pictures. I liked learning about what goes into designing a food truck. I learned about how to pick the prices for food items.

DIY Photoshop Week

For DIY Photoshop Week I worked on a client-connected project for Mrs. Salmonson. I created flyers to promote the Education Internship Program. I enjoyed being able to promote a program in our school.

Reflection

Overall, I enjoyed taking this class. I learned so much more about Photoshop than just from taking a digital photography class. I learned how to download different fonts, create different shapes, and add effects such as a drop shadow. My favorite project was the graduation ticket. I think mine turned out very nice and I put in the most effort. Some of my other favorite projects were the food truck project, famous art parody, and logo for Kernes. I know I have so much more to learn about Photoshop, but I feel more confident around using the basics.
