The problem is that Nicky's sheep are sick. This happened because Mortimer MacCardigan spilled poison onto the grass of the middle pen of sheep. He did this in a plane at night to not get caught. This is a problem because then Nicky's parents can't make an money since they sell their sheep's wool. Because the sheep are sick from the poison, their wool is falling off, and Nicky's family won't have any wool to sell at the Great Shearing. Then they can't have any food or own the ranch, they might lose the ranch to Mortimer.

First they saw Mortimer driving the plane in the sky and the sheep were scared. Nicky went to Mortimer and he hid some poison from her. They are solving the problem by going to Naya's elders and asking for the magical root. This root can cure any kind of sickness so it can hopefully cure the sheep.

I think that they are going to get the root and they will quickly divide the root. Then they are going to feed the root to the sheep. Then their wool will grow back. EDIT: The agency was the one who was bribing famous directors and judges in the competition, so they can win and earn money. This is a problem because this is bad and cheating is wrong. All the other dance teams, who are high quality dancers, will lose.
