I think teaching the basics of scripting (sorta how it was done during the scripting lab - coding with a purpose in mind) helps learn the basics of programming which also leads the way to machine learning (unless ML is done only using GUI in the course which I would not like)

it is a real dilemma because of the lack of time to have all the lectures. I guess I would have applications lectures that most students liked in the next year - but of course for that you would need data (maybe the rep can collect it 😜)

I agree with the idea of having an EEG lab. I was also wondering whether it would be possible to have a PET scanner demonstration as well?

Adding EEG and PET visits would be incredibly beneficial for students. I found that seeing an MRI machine up close was interesting, and it really sparked my interest in pursuing a PhD focused on this technology. Overall, I really enjoyed the diverse lectures in this module.

I really enjoyed the module and SGW’s. I also really appreciate the career talks we have had. I am not sure what lectures should be cut for making space for the EEG and PET content though, but I like the idea of it being included.

I think having more SGWs fitted in the timetable would be useful. Particularly if they’re tailored towards MRI, MRS, and machine learning content. I also wanted to thank our GTAs, they’ve been very helpful :)

Overall, enjoyed the module and highly appreciated getting feedback for the abstract attempts - it was very helpful. The physics was difficult for someone with zero knowledge (honestly zero) and understanding the basic concepts alongside the physics lectures is taking a lot of time. Appreciate the repetition of concepts throughout the module - it helps with understanding and learning. It feels like the course leaders want to help us and want for us to succeed :). If possible, it would be great to move the SGWs onto a day when we have lectures already - the commute to them was longer than the session (for me personally) and it would be helpful money-wise too. Thanks for all your help Owen.
