In the 90's, Wesco decided to change its bussiness model to attend to the final client market without distributors.  Wesco had 200 clients in 2004. By 2021 it had 6000 clients to expand the market. Today it is the largest importer of stainless steel in Colombia, with a presence in the market.
Wesco has been a model in its particular way to attend clients.

Currently, Crepes & Waffles has opened  a 180 restaurants, and more than 130 ice cream shops in Colombia. and other places around the world.  Its model market is to sell the franchise by only the 49%, warranting the susteinability of the brand.

Crepes and Waffles started with an initial investment of $500,000, sells almost $300,000 million a year and by the end of 2021, the chain sold 268,823 million and annually, on average, its sales are growing at a rate of 10%.

In 1955 Gurmencindo Gómez Caro built his first mattress. He started his company in 1957 in Colombia.The new industry has created new challenges, so they improved their technology and fabrics. In 1990 they opened a new factories located in Bogota. 

In the last financial report, El Dorado mattress reported increase in net income by 1,2% in 2022, Its Total Assets registered growth of 9.71%.

Today they have been in the industry for more than 64 years and generate more than 400 jobs, and they continue to grow.

Its bussiness model is based on franchise to success on the model production and fast delivery. 

In 1954 in San Bernardino on California the McDonald brothers had a restaurant which Ray Kroc visited. He was  surprised for they eficient. The restaurant had a limited menu like hamburguers,french fries and soda. This menu allowed them to concentrate on increased productivity.

In 1955 Ray Krock bought the rights to McDonald's and by 1958, McDonald's had sold its 100 millionth hamburger. By the late 1960, there were more than 1,000 restaurants in the U.S. The first international franchise opened in 1967.

The company is valued at $147 billion dollars. To buy a franchise requires an investment of between $1 million and $2.2 million, depending on size and location. On average, a McDonald's restaurant generates $2.7 million a year in sales. Owners can be left with an annual profit of $150,000 dollars. 

In 2020 McDonald's opened its first restaurant designed with zero net emissions at Walt Disney World Resort. The company currently has more than 36,000 restaurants in over 100 countries.
