He had to try to escape and made it just in time. I felt so bad and scared for Bilbo. Bilbo is one of my favorite I would not like  to see one of my favorite characters go.I'm super happy that Bilbo survived because he's basically a main character and it's not good when the main character is gone for action. They are risking their lives to help their friends, the trees, and to stop the evil white wizard Saruman, by breaking down the walls of Isengard
Even though they know  they won't be coming back to their homes. They are strong brave creatures and I feel terrible because their race of Ents will be extinct if they don't come back. All of this terrible information happened on pg 474 and is heart breaking since they are willing to help their friends in such a sad manner but it is extremely brave of them to risk their lives for their friends. I love how JRR Tolkein made this chapter so fantastic but sad at the same time.

But in the end, the unkind girl, regretted being unkind and was sad that the Maya moved away. I know this because on the last page of the book it said, 'I watched the water ripple as the sun set through the maples and the chance of a kindness with Maya became more and more forever gone.' although you may feel bad for the regretful girl, she learned a lesson she will remember for the rest of her life. Treat people the way you want to be treated. The new girl did her part. She smiled at the other girls and asked them to play, but they didn't return that.
