Lack of staff, bureaucracy, and lack of investment were also considered to be pressing issues.

Similar to the education inequalities, There is a divide between the North and the South and gender. Italy has a decentralized healthcare system, meaning regions control healthcare services. This creates major disparities between the wealthy North and the poorer South.

Poverty exacerbates gender gaps in education, with girls in poor families 22 percentage points less likely to attend school than boys. Financial support programmes, especially in rural areas, can help alleviate this challenge. About 2 million more girls than boys are out of school in Pakistan–or about 12 million girls in total—and account for most of the out-of-school population in Pakistan. Estimates of the number of out-of-school children in Pakistan range from 20.3 to 22.1 million children.

The GER at the primary level exhibited a 21-percentage point decrease, going down from 97% in 2016-17 to 76% in 2021-22. There are 26.2 million out of school children in Pakistan in 2021-22.

Challenges Government schools may face issues like delays in funding, slow implementation of policies, and administrative inefficiencies, which can hinder their growth and quality of education.

UNICEF has researched and found out that Pakistan is facing a serious challenge to ensure all children, particularly the most disadvantaged, attend, stay and learn in school. While enrollment and retention rates are improving, progress has been slow to improve education indicators in Pakistan.

In Pakistan, the accessibility to education for children and young individuals depends on the child's family status as if they have enough money for the education in a private school the child is more likely to receive the high quality education and support as they are able to afford to pay for the education. Whereas, if the child's family don't earn enough money they are more likely to experience less accessibility to education as it is hard to access government schools due to the large population that are facing poverty. The accessibility to education depends on the family status, salary, the area they live in and gender inequality.

This affects disadvantaged students, including those with disabilities, First Nations peoples, individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, young refugees and asylum seekers

Data sourced from Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) National Health Surveys (1989–90, 1995, and 2001) and the National Nutrition Survey (NNS) for dietary behaviours in 1995. Found that socioeconomically disadvantaged groups experience poorer health outcomes and are less likely to engage in preventive health measures. Inequalities exist across genders and age groups. The health burden resulting from socioeconomic disadvantage is substantial, with much of it being preventable.
