This character fits perfectly with the story because its attitudes, values and anti-values make the reader understand his behavior well. The fact that he is shy and very intellectual gives more characteristic to this character. I like his ability to solve problems and control his feelings.

I like that he's a character who's the protagonist's counterpart. I think this concept is not at all original but in this story that concept is used well. Jay is wild, tough and not reserved at all. It seems to me that this character is super essential in history and is not filled at all

Although I found it a little difficult to understand this character well. I find it interesting how Matti reveals that it's the "wild" part of Mattilda, and in my opinion, I like how she fights abusers just because she had a past with them. His past is something very interesting and intriguing at the same time

he was James' best friend and he also remains so. His way of acting is understandable and not at all exaggerated. Especially when he gets mad at James about the party. Only he didn't know that his friend... he wasn't his friend. It doesn't contribute much to the development of history but it doesn't feel like stuffing.

This character is a singular case, because in the real world, he is an idiot, he beats our protagonist, steals his money, throws his books at him and gets into fights. But, in the mirror world, we are revealed that he is the "wild" half of his own personality. The good one is trapped in the world of mirrors, helpingpeople to get away from there.
