    • The USAID aims to help save lives, reduce poverty, and strengthen democratic government. 
    • The USAID gives development assistance to support partner nations in their own development journeys toward self-sufficiency, searching for methods to improve lives, create communities, and achieve self-sufficiency.

  • Support democracy, human rights, and good governance in order to help governments fight corruption, expand civil society, empower citizens to choose their leaders, and enhance the democratic trend. 
  • Increase climate change resilience to help communities adjust to unpredictable rains and longer, harsher droughts—weather effects that will disproportionately affect Africa. 
    Assist in the rapid response to humanitarian crises.
